Asher Daniel Paul: A Birth Story

This is something new that I have never tried. I came across the idea of doing a birth story on the photography website of Whitney Hardie in New York. I contact her and she was wonderful about helping me understand how to do a birth story and what to expect. Lot’s of thanks to her! Not only was this my first birth story to photograph, but it was also my first live birth. It was the most beautiful miracle. Loads of thanks to Jessica and Dan Paul for letting me do this for them. Little baby Asher Daniel Paul was born March 28 at 9lb 6 oz. He is home now and this little family is loving their new addition.

Kelsey Lee Bland

I was excited to do this team photo shoot with Trish Badger, for Kelsey because she not only is gorgeous but she has an amazing voice! She was easy going with anything that we wanted to try. I was able to experiment using one light indoors with just my external flash. Don’t be surprised if you see more of her in my photos…she was great to work with! Check out her music here.

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Joshua Perez

Each wedding is so unique. Every couple has their own story and that plays into what their special day will be like. Joshua and Ketty have dated almost 4 years; Joshua in Houston and Ketty in Bolivia. Speaking from experience, that is a hard thing to do! One of my favorite things that made their wedding so unique was that Joshua surprised Ketty with a recording of her family in Bolivia, who were unable to make it, giving their wishes and love. It was so touching and incredibly thoughtful! I was even crying behind the camera! Congrats to a wonderful couple who is finally together. San Antonio riverwalk – San Antonio, TX

Photo shoot in an apple orchard; convenient. Poor Cora had just woken up from a nap and was not a happy camper! Luckily, there were apples all around us and once we gave her one to nibble on she was all smiles. Plus, it made for adorable pictures!

Olsen & Yates Wedding

These two are young and in love! They were laughing and kissing all day long and I loved it. They also had a lot of the fun modern ideas like wearing lime green converses and having a cupcake cake! Congrats and best wishes to these two love birds.

Laing Family

The mother of this family is a photographer herself, so I was absolutely flattered when she asked me to take her family photos! It is amazing how well behaved and photogenic these kiddos were. I fear that my children will be awful about getting their picture taken because I am a photographer and will always be trying to use them as models! But after seeing these cuties I think there is hope for my future children.
